How do consumers respond to sustainable food packaging?

How do consumers respond to sustainable food packaging?

Join us on December 16, 14:00 – 16:30, when the Food Innovation House and the MAPP Centre from Aarhus University invites you to participate in an insightful webinar.

Consumers express interest in sustainable food packaging and claim to be willing to pay more for brands offering sustainable packaging solutions. However, such a positive response may not necessarily translate into actual behavior, especially at the point of purchase. Thus, ways to effectively communicate sustainable packaging need to be better understood.

This webinar brings insights from a recent research project on consumer perceptions toward sustainable food packaging solutions and provides managerial insights on the topic from the food and packaging industry.

Several questions will be discussed: How do consumers perceive and assess sustainable packaging? Are consumers willing to pay more, and what are the ways to ensure that they do? What type of information can be more effective and does labeling work? What strategies are more effective?

These are some of the questions that will be discussed when the invited speakers from Nestle, KLS Pureprint, and the MAPP Centre present their views on the topic.
